The winding roads wind through the hilly landscape and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

The route continues through the Tinença de Benifassà Nature Reserve, an area of great natural, landscape and biological value. Here you will find a varied landscape with rugged cliffs, deep gorges and dense forests. The route passes by the Pantano de Ulldecona, a popular destination in the region.

After the nature reserve, the route continues to Morella, where you can stop to explore the charming old town with its narrow streets and historic buildings. From here, the journey continues to the Silent Route, a 63-kilometre stretch between Gargallo and Cantavieja. This route offers a unique driving experience through Aragon's barren but stunning countryside. The well-maintained roads pass through sparsely populated areas, hence the name 'Silent Route'.

The day ends in the historic city of Teruel, at an altitude of 1700 metres.

  • Stage destination: Teruel
  • Driving Distance / Duration: 280 km / 6.5 hours
  • Highlights: Morella, Silent Route

Our morning route takes us north to Cantavieja, a picturesque mountain town in the heart of the Maestrazgo Mountains. The winding road offers breathtaking views of the region's rugged landscape. From there the route continues to Vilafranca del Cid, where it is worth stopping to admire the medieval architecture.

The route then heads south through the imposing Maestrazgo mountain range, past rugged cliffs and deep gorges. In Rubielos de Mora, one of Spain's most beautiful villages, you can stop to wander the cobbled streets and admire the well-preserved Renaissance palaces.

Continue towards the coast, where the roads become more winding and the views more spectacular. At Onda, famous for its ceramics industry and the imposing Castillo de Onda, we gradually leave the mountains behind.

The final stretch crosses the fertile plain of the Huerta de Valencia, past orange groves and rice fields, before arriving in Valencia.

  • Stage destination: Valencia
  • Driving Distance / Duration: 250 km / 5 hours
  • Highlights: Maestrazgo Mountains, Onda Castle

On your rest day, you can immerse yourself in the joy of Valencia at many places. Take a walk through the historic El Carmen district, marvel at the narrow streets, the cathedral, and its bell tower known as El Miguelete, offering panoramic views over the city. Valencia is also famous for the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, a futuristic architectural icon featuring science museums and an opera house. The Mercado Central is one of the largest food and fresh produce markets in Europe, where you can sample local delicacies.

  • Highlights: Stroll through the old town of Valencia, City of Arts and Sciences

Today the tour heads west to Dos Aguas. The winding route through the mountains around Valencia offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. From there the route continues to Alcalá del Júcar, a picturesque village in the province of Albacete.

Alcalá del Júcar is an impressive village perched on the steep cliffs of a deep, crescent-shaped gorge of the Rio Jucar. Its white houses seem to cling to the sheer cliffs, often built on natural caves or rocky outcrops. In the Middle Ages, Alcalá del Júcar experienced an important Arabic period, which is reflected in the imposing fortress that towers over the river Júcar.

The journey continues through the varied landscape of Castile-La Mancha to today's destination, Alarcón, where you will spend the night in the famous Castillo de Alarcón. The history of this castle dates back to the 8th century, when it was built by the Moors as a fortress. In the 12th century it was conquered by King Alfonso VIII of Castile during the Reconquista. The castle has been the scene of many military conflicts and was even the home of the famous poet Juan Manuel.

  • Stage Destination: Alarcón
  • Driving Distance / Duration: 300 km / 6 hours
  • Highlights:  Dos Aguas, Alcalá del Júcar

Your motorcycling day begins in Alarcón and takes you first to the castle of Chinchilla de Montearagón. This imposing fortress offers stunning views over the surrounding countryside6.

From there, the journey continues to El Molino de Don Quijote Park. Here you will find the fascinating sight of the historic windmills that inspired Miguel de Cervantes to write his famous chapter in Don Quixote.

The route continues into the Parque Natural de Los Calares del Mundo y de la Sima. Declared a Nature Reserve in 2005, this area is characterised by its unique geology, with impressive karst formations, including over 960 sinkholes in the Calar del Mundo massif alone. A highlight is the spectacular waterfall at the source of the Río Mundo, with a drop of 80 metres.

The final leg of the journey leads into the Parque Natural de las Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas, the second largest nature reserve in Europe. The winding roads through dense forests, gorges and past rivers and streams seem made for motorcyclists. The views from the Las Palomas mountain pass are particularly impressive, with breathtaking panoramic views of the region.

  • Stage Destination: Sierra Cazorla
  • Driving Distance / Duration: 300 km / 6 hours
  • Highlights: La Mancha windmills and Sierra Cazorla Nature Reserve

Your final day of travel begins in the magnificent Sierra de Cazorla Nature Reserve and heads south into the impressive Sierra Nevada. The winding roads wind through the highest mountain range on the Iberian Peninsula, offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and deep valleys.

From there, the journey continues to the Alpujarras, a picturesque region at the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Here you will pass through charming white villages that seem to cling to the steep mountain slopes and enjoy the unique landscape of terraced fields and lush vegetation.

You will reach Spain's southern coast, the Costa del Sol, where you will travel along the coastal road and enjoy the contrast between the mountains of the hinterland and the glistening Mediterranean Sea. Shortly before Málaga, the road turns back towards the mountains, to the Montes de Málaga.

At the end of the route, winding roads take you through dense pine forests to the Martínez Falero viewpoint, from where you can enjoy spectacular views of the park and the city of Málaga.
