This tour takes you into the magical world of the mountains and will put a smile on your face more than once. At over 3800 meters above sea level, you admire the beauty of the glaciers in the Mont Blanc mountains. At the same spot, where Hannibal crossed the Alps with his elephants, you´ll realize that you are conquering one of the most beautiful mountain roads in the world on your BMW. The Hispania Tours team welcomes you at the tour hotel in Barcelona. In the afternoon, after the handover of your motorbike, a detailed tour briefing takes place followed by a joint dinner where you meet the other riders and get in the mood for your motorcycle tours in Europe.

Your European tour begins on the Spanish roads of the Catalan backcountry and takes you via Camprodón into the mountains of the Pyrenees. Here you cross the border into France and enjoy wonderful motorcycling and beautiful views of the mountain peaks. Before Perpignan, you have a bite to eat with French delicacies, head towards Montpellier and reach your stage destination of Avignon, the historic city of the Antipopes, in the afternoon. During your evening stroll through the Gothic old town, you will discover the Palace of the Popes and Avignon's world-famous bridge.

From Avignon, we head this morning to Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in Provence, known for its breathtaking vistas and stone buildings. We continue into the dreamlike landscapes of Provence, a feast for the senses with lavender fields and vineyards. The highlight today is undoubtedly the Verdon Gorge, often referred to as "Europe's Grand Canyon."

Our day starts in the French Sea Alps and takes us over the picturesque Col Izoard (2,360 m) with its magnificent curves. Then we head to the Col du Galibier, one of the most famous roads in the French Alps for its exceptional beauty. At 2,645 meters, it is the fifth highest paved pass in the Alps. From there, we head to the highest point of our entire trip: the Col de l'Iseran, which at 2,764 meters is the highest pass in the Alps. The road to the pass winds through stunning mountain scenery with glaciers and sheer cliffs all the way to the top. Overnight in the famous alpine village of Val-d'Isère.

This morning, you have the opportunity to enjoy the Little St. Bernard Pass road from France into Italy with its absolutely breathtaking mountain views and twisty roads. As we descend into the picturesque Aosta Valley, we are greeted by very charming Italian villages and the most lush vineyards you could imagine. You continue towards the tranquil waters of Lago Maggiore and reach Lake Como. Riding around this famous lake with its absolutely breathtaking views is the perfect end to this wonderful riding day!

Today promises an exhilarating motorcycle day through some of the most scenic and challenging routes in the Alps that span both Italy and Switzerland. Starting from picturesque Lake Como in Italy, the tour quickly ascends to Passo Spluga, offering breathtaking views and thrilling mountain roads.
Next, we head into Switzerland where you cross the Julier Pass road to reach famous St. Moritz - a lovely spot for your lunch break. The route then takes you over the Bernina Pass road known for its panoramic views and exciting curves - a highlight of your ride. You end our day in Bormio at the foot of the legendary Passo Stelvio.

The fresh mountain air gives you energy you for one of the most challenging yet beautiful stages of this tour - the ascent to Stelvio Pass. Thirty-nine hairpin turns lead you up to Europe’s second-highest paved pass road. At the top awaits a magnificent panorama over Italy's snow-covered mountains as well as those of Switzerland and Austria plus a view down into South Tyrol with its winding road featuring 48 hairpin bends. Afterward, we continue into Austria where you’ll see a church tower rising from a long-forgotten village out of Lago Resia. Tyrolean hospitality and regional dishes await you for lunch before you ride past lush green fields into Bavaria and to the BMW Motorrad Days.

You've got an amazing day of riding ahead, as you travel through four countries. You are going to cross Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland! We'll be leaving Garmisch for a quick photo stop at Neuschwanstein Castle, which is world-famous for its impressive architecture against a picturesque alpine backdrop.
In Austria, you travel along the Namlos Valley, offering bikers thrilling roads and the best Apfelstrudel on tour! You continue through the lovely Vorarlberg region before briefly entering the Principality of Liechtenstein. Finally, you reach Flims, a typical village with stunning views over the Swiss mountain landscapes.

Today marks your final departure from the mountains as you cross the border into La Provence in the morning! In the afternoon, you'll reach the borders of the Cevennes National Park, where you'll spend the night at an authentic French vineyard!

You're in the heart of France, driving through the breathtaking Cevennes National Park, where its gorges lead you south.
